Natural Park of the Tuscan MaremmaIt is located south of Grosseto, less than an hour’s drive from the estate. It is a chain of impervious and wild hills, surrounded by marshes, pine forests, cultivated fields and pastures, which descends towards the sea with sandy beaches and cliffs. The meetings with the Maremma bulls or wild boars and foxes are the order of the day.
Scarlino Bioenergetic Reserve – Poggio Spedaletto
This nature reserve is the extension of the wildlife oasis of the Padule and the Coast. In the area were found Etruscan settlements. In the Reserve, live and reproduce owls, barn owls and some kestrel couples.
The Castiglione della Pescaia Reserve
It is considered the most significant Italian wetland. It is close to the pinewood and the beach of Castiglione della Pescaia and stretches along the plain that connects the seaside resort with Grosseto.
